Don't know where to start with bedroom design? (Lakeland)

You can always sell what you have and purchase something that will work better for you. If you don’t want to end up perched on the bed, why not have a sofa bed that you can convert into your bed once they’ve left? There are many different types of sofa beds and futons available that come in a wide range of designs and mattress types (see the section on this website). If you need to work or study in your bedroom then consider choosing a desk with drawers each side that will also work as a chest of drawers. Lighting will need to be flexible so install a dimmer switch and try adding a desk light that can be swivelled upwards to become an atmospheric up light for a more subdued softer effect.
